Tucked away in one of Cornwalls hidden valleys you will discover Melinsey Mill. This local family business is run from a restored 16th century watermill.
Melinsey is a one off, a wonderfully Cornish mixture of eccentricity and charm. According to county records there has been a mill on the site since 1210 .
Teas, cakes and cream teas are available all day, accompanied by a wide choice of hot and cold drinks. We have a drinks license and sell cider, beer and wine.
Homemade soup and a dish of the day are supplemented by a choice of traditional snacks and doorstep sandwiches. Wherever possible local produce is used. All our cakes, pies and pastrys are homemade in the mill kitchen.
We offer morning coffee and we serve lunch between 12.00pm and 3.30pm.
During the school summer holidays we open a few evenings a week for our homemade pizzas baked in our outdoor oven.
